So it's 3am, i've sustained two scalpel wounds and had superglue sprayed into my eye trying to open a new bottle... I'm going to bed Facepalm

Would love to see a video or something on your process for making these props. Would love to try my hand at a few. What materials are you using? Any help or links would be cool. Thanks :)

I've always played around with the idea of getting a GoPro or something to take videos of the creation process, but right now i only have my camera phone, which is NOT ideal...
I have a few WIP thingies around on my site, check those out. There isn't any text but i do list the materials i used :D

Awesome! I really appreciate it :) And hope that you invest in a GoPro in the near future to document some of your projects.

Thankyou! I don't think this one will get the usual WIP treatment... it is exactly the same process as the hammer, so i feel like i'd be repeating myself. Besides, this is the only photo i've taken so far.

Aww.  But the WIP pics are just as good as the finished.  Well i guess the crowd on here prefers finished pics.  But I enjoy WIP.  anyways  keep up the good work.  I love your builds.

I'm my own worst enemy when it comes to scalpels... i think most of my props have traces of my blood in them somewhere. :S

I'm sure this advice will fundamentally transform your worldview:  Try to avoid self-inflicted injuries, OK?

Looks awesome, looking forward to the finished piece!  :la:

You are most wise. Those are some damned good words to live by haha.
Shouldn't be long till it's finished!

God I hope your eye's ok?

Very nice piece of work though, can't wait to see the finished item.... just as long as it doesn't result in any more injuries of course.

It's ok... a little blurry and uncomfortable but i took all the precautions.
Haha there are still 3 more sides i have to cover with scalpel-cut patterns..... so i can't make too many promises.

Glad to hear it... that your eye's ok :)

Yeah, never promise anything, especially if your having an accident prone sessions with it, the less of those the better. :)

Indeed. I once took a handsaw halfway through my finger once... Lesson to be learned, if you're tired, STOP USING SHARP OBJECTS!

I've ended up in A&E laughing like a crazy person because I tried using ninja skills to catch a scalpel in between my legs, it did not work quite how I hoped it would.

Aw man that sucks D:
I've done a couple of similar things, landed myself a few scars for my negligence... sawed half way through my finger with a handsaw once because i was too damned tired :(
