Skyrim Steel Battleaxe Prop Replica by TheAnti-Lily Skyrim Steel Battleaxe Prop Replica by TheAnti-Lily
Here it is guys, all finished and weathered :D

Made from the usual, acrylic, MDF, styrene, body filler, epoxy putty, resin, and a tasmanian oak rod.

Both the battleaxe and the guard helmet are made by me (more on the helmet later)

I must say, that normally Im not too much into game/movie prop or fantasy weapons, but these you have made (not only this one but others in your gallery as well) are so clean and detailed work that I really appreciate that! To make these you must really have high crafting skills and eye for details.

By the way, thanks for the watch also :)

A damaged axe blade is a worthless axe though, they don't work once nicked. Besides it's your work, so do what you want to do.

Would you be interested in selling some of your work?   My friend and myself want to start a live action skyrim show and stuff... So I'm just wondering how much something like this, or maybe a steel great sword would cost?

Most definitly! I aim to sell casts sometime this year. I can't just start making moulds now though, it's far too expensive for what i can afford, so i'd need to figure out a deposit payment system thingy.
I haven't negotiated prices for them either just yet, but damn, skyrim live action sounds amazing!
Stay tuned tor a journal entry when i start taking commission orders :D

This is the master, i've yet to cast any of the things i've made :S
Actually i lie, the butt is cast from the hammers butt. And the rings.
Thankyou!!!! Always great to hear from fellow propmakers.
And i guaruntee you the dawnguard axe will definitely get a run (it's had the most legitimate interest on here for casts)
